Welcome to the Chesapeake Bay Art Association!

The Chesapeake Bay Art Association (CBAA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with the principal purpose to establish and provide a forum for art educational opportunities, and to foster an appreciation for art and artistic growth amongst a group of artists who share like-minded interests. Our yearly efforts focus on raising money to award local high school seniors pursuing education in the arts via scholarship funds and to engage with other organizations having similar aims throughout the communities to facilitate the objectives and purposes of CBAA. Originally founded in in Ocean View, Norfolk, VA, CBAA has evolved into a diverse group of artists/supporters of the arts with members hailing from throughout the Hampton Roads area. From its inception and continuing into the current organization, CBAA has encouraged growth and knowledge of art throughout the region, while proudly bringing artists together to facilitate thriving communities through the lens of art education.

We host 3 EVENTS that are held annually - The Spring Members Show, The CBAA Art Crawl, and The CBAA Annual Fall Art Festival.

Additional opportunities for showing and selling are available.

We meet monthly between in various locations throughout the area and offer standard membership for local artists, and associate memberships for art supporters. Please inquire at cbaamembership757@gmail.com for updates, newsletters and current events and follow us on Facebook.
