Welcome to the Chesapeake Bay Art Association!

The Chesapeake Bay Art Association (CBAA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that raises funds to benefit the John B. Tenney Memorial Scholarship Fund which is awarded to high school seniors planning to further their education in the arts. CBAA was founded in Ocean View, Norfolk, VA on August 8, 1961, when 15 local artists were invited to a meeting to discuss forming an Art Guild for the area. Since then, CBAA has encouraged growth and knowledge of art throughout the region, while proudly bringing a diverse group of artists together.

We host 3 EVENTS that are held annually - The Spring Members Show, The CBAA Art Crawl, and The Ocean View Art Show in the fall.

Additional opportunities for showing and selling are available.

We meet monthly between Ocean View and Virginia Beach in various locations, and offer standard membership for local artists, and associate memberships for art supporters. Please inquire at cbaamembership757@gmail.com for updates, newsletters and current events and follow us on Facebook.
